Life Fitness’ LFconnect and Apple GymKit Heading to a Gym Near You

Apple and Life Fitness team up to make it even easier to work off all that spiked eggnog and apple pie after the holidays

If you have taken (yet another!) vow to get fit in 2018 - this one is for you! Life Fitness will begin offering Apple GymKit compatibility on premium cardio consoles beginning early next year.

With this functionality, cardio equipment will wirelessly pair with your Apple Watch so you can can measure and track the most accurate measurements and stats possible.

With a tap to the Life Fitness console, a connection between Apple Watch and the cardio equipment is established, and data is exchanged between the watch and Life Fitness machine.

Once connected, Apple Watch and the fitness machine exchange data like heart rate, calories burned, distance, speed and incline.

With a more personalized workouts with easy data tracking, now there are no excuses to shed that post-holiday weight.

The first adopters will be available in the new Equinox clubs opening early next year.
