The luxury Swiss watch manufacturer has followed the opening of a boutique on the city’s Rue du Rhône with the tasteful and cozy bar
Designed to give the feel of an exclusive gentleman’s club, Les Aviateurs invites guests to immerse themselves in the early years of aviation and sense the spirit of aviation pioneers such as Antoine de Saint-Exupéry.

Tasteful and cosy, the bar features cocktails by high-end department store Globus that are inspired by IWC’s pilot’s watches.

The bar, which was designed by IWC and Globus, was created with the intention of being an extension of the brand’s recently opened boutique and is a first in the luxury watch segment. It is hoped it will become a meeting place for style-conscious gourmets from around the world.

Characterized by dark wood and leather, the interior is reminiscent of the iconic gentlemen’s clubs from the 1920s and 1930s where pilots were known to talk of their aviations experiences. Carefully designed furnishings, which includes original photos and maps, transport guests back to the thrilling era of aviation pioneers.
As for the drinks, one of the highlights is the “R. J. Mitchell" - named after the designer of the Supermarine Spitfire.
