Love it or loathe it, Valentine’s Day is just around the corner. Macau is no stranger to dining promotions, and so we’ve rounded up what’s on offer for you and your beloved.

Mezza9 at the Grand Hyatt will offer a romantic feast for two where East will endeavor to meet West. The five-course menu includes French oysters, sashimi, sushi, Boston lobster and Wagyu as well as a rose chocolate fondue that comes with ice cream, macarons, cream puffs and fruit for dipping. Couples will also receive a small bouquet of flowers (and if the small bouquet just won't do, there are plenty others on offer in the lobby boutique, including the 1.8 meter-high bouquet).

Bene in the Sheraton Grand will also offer a five-course dinner. Sticking with tradition, oysters will kick off the dinner. East would seem to be meeting West at Bene too, with a creamy cauliflower soup with smoked sea urchin. Lobster, which is of course de rigueur on Valentine’s Day, follows. Other dishes include leek ravioli, roasted herb-crusted halibut, prime beef three ways (grilled wagyu among them), and finally a raspberry dessert with rose ice cream to complete the love-themed feast.
