The Langham Hong Kong and AIDS Concern Launch TRIPLE ZERO RED Campaign for World AIDS Day

The Langham, Hong Kong and AIDS Concern have come together to help raise awareness of AIDS as well as raise funds to go towards the cause with their Triple Zero Red Campaign. Triple Zero refers to AIDS Concern’s mission to achieve ZERO new HIV infections, ZERO stigma for people living with HIV and ZERO AIDS deaths, with red being the official color of AIDS awareness.
To kick off the month-long awareness events is an AIDS Concern gala dinner on Nov. 13. The AIDS Concern 25th Anniversary Gala Dinner will be held at The Langham, Hong Kong ballroom to raise money for the charity. On the evening a silent auction will take place and includes prizes like a trip to London and a stay at the The Langham, London. A limited number of tickets are still available (HK$2,500).

The hotel has also fashioned a few red-themed gastronomic delights to help raise funds to go towards the cause. From Nov. 13 to Dec. 12 a four-course TRIPLE ZERO RED menu (HK$480 + 10% service charge) will be offered at The Bostonian, and includes baked scallops with sun-dried tomatoes and The Bostonian Lobster Bisque, followed by a petit filet mignon and a sweet forest berry panna cotta. Artesian mixologist Rajendra “Rush” Limbu has also created the 2-5-0 red cocktail made with gin, Chinese liqueur, contratto bitter, cranberry juice, lemon juice and mint (HK$138 + 10% service charge). On World’s AIDS Day, Dec. 1, guests can enjoy a red strawberry candy macaron with a marshmallow centre with the Ladurée Afternoon Tea by Langham (HK$298 + per person or HK$538 + for two). 10% of proceeds will be donated to the charity.
