Back for its 15th edition, the Macau Fringe Festival is set to take place the first two weeks of November. The festival kicks off on Sunday with a handful events including “Art Here, Art There, Art Everywhere” a dance performance which explores the human characteristics of thinking, feeling and acting.
The same day will see a parade running from the Ruins of St. Paul’s to Leal Senado Square from 4pm to 6pm. Past parade participants have included musical and dance acts, with a number of youth and school groups involved.
Later that evening head to Nam Van Lake Square for a music and liquid light show. A blend of avant garde music and experimental music will be coupled with projection effects by JinniL, a Taiwanese liquid light show artist. 7:30pm to 8:30pm
Plastic Shores, a 2012 documentary, attempts to raise public awareness of marine debris. It will be screened in the open-air cinema from November 3rd to the 5th from 7:30 to 9 p.m. (Nam Van Lake Square on the 3rd; Barra Square on the 4th and Camoes Square, Taipa on the 5th).
A choreographed dance performance that deals with the phenomena of death and agony in art. "Dancing to the end“ presents a mash-up of different concepts inspired by Anna Pavlova, Michael Jackson’s Thriller and the Forever 27 Club. November 3rd and 4th from 8pm to 9pm at Old Court Building. MOP50
