The special collection comprises five colourful watches in the unmistakable style of the popular Sixties line from Glashütte Original.”
Introduced in 1964, the Spezimatic watch was one of the first creations of the state-owned VEB Glashütter Uhrenbetriebe. Manufactured until 1979, the watch saw a large number of different versions: all reliable and with an elegant design, the Spezimatic became somewhat of an icon.
In a nod to what was one of its debut models, Glashütte Original pays tribute with a special collection with a design inspired by the original Spezimatic. The Sixties Iconic Collection comprises five unique hues: Sixties Red, Sixties Golden, Sixties Aqua, Sixties Brown and Sixties Grey.
The Sixties Iconic Collection will be available in Glashütte Original boutiques worldwide including the brand new boutique located in Causeway Bay Hong Kong and in the Landmark Hotel Macau.
