Looking for a family-friendly barbecue? Or perhaps you’re after a more terror-inducing evening. Whatever you’re looking for, there is be no shortage of events this Halloween to help stir up a little fun and fright.
For a fearsome and eerie evening head into the bowels of The Cubic Theatre where the “puppets of the darkness” party sees a military lab experiment gone awry. The laboratory, which has remained abandoned since 1890, was once a center for infectious diseases and toxic chemicals.
Entry is MOP 350 which includes one standard drink. Admission for ladies in costume is free before 1am.

From now until Halloween, Broadway Macau is offering visitors the chance to win prizes at a Halloween photo booth where you can take selfies between 2 p.m. and 10 p.m. and post them on Facebook and Instagram to win prizes. There is also a Halloween parade on Oct. 24, 25 and 31 at 8 p.m. with the final parade leading up to a halloween party from 9:30 p.m. to 12 a.m. on All Hallows Eve! Entry is free to all events.
JW Marriott has rounded up DJs, models and performers for their Into the Dark party. There will be a prize for the best dressed attendee and ladies in costume are admitted free before midnight. Taking place in the Grand Ballroom, there are booths and tables (which can be reserved for a fee) as well as general admission tickets.
Tickets purchased before Oct. 29 are MOP 320 (which includes one standard drink and a snack) or MOP 450 on the night.
If you would rather party poolside, the Hard Rock Pool is offering a barbecue buffet from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. That is followed by a party from 9 p.m. to midnight. Free Halloween face painting, a lucky draw and live music will make it fun for the family, while free admission to a late night party at Studio City will appeal to the party animals.
