The unique setting and the opportunity to interact with the artists and gallery owners is what makes the Asia Contemporary Art Show uniqueness. The somewhat confined spaces of the rooms means that the galleries have to get creative and utilize all the space they have, so be prepare for paintings hung on shower doors and others laid on the toilet. In the room, sculptures are placed on window sills and bedside tables and canvases are draped over beds and sofas.

Among our favorites from this year’s participants is British artist Jeff Murray. Hongkongers will no doubt love his “Hong Kong Rising” piece.
