2015 Oktoberfest at MGM Macau

Back next month for its seventh consecutive year is the Oktoberfest celebration at MGM Macau. The 11-day festival will take place from 6pm to midnight from October 15th to October 25th and offer guests an authentic Oktoberfest experience. Live entertainment from the Hogl Fun band will give drinkers an earful of traditional German folk oompah music, with dirndl-clad beer maids delivering huge steins of Bavarian beer
Now on to the real reason to attend an Oktoberfest celebration: beer. Spaten, a genuine Oktoberfest beer (which happens to come from the oldest brewery in Munich), will be available as will Franziskaner, a wheat beer. There will also be a non-alcoholic version of the latter. Food available will also be very traditional and will include bratwurst, roasted free range chicken and roasted pork knuckle. If you’re heading there with group (or a large appetite) you could opt for the five-liter keg of Spaten (MOP650) and the sizeable (or so we are told) cold cut platter (MOP180) or the Oktoberfest mega pretzel sandwich with German ham (MOP480).
A family friendly festival, Oktoberfest offers carnival game booths and children of all ages are welcome.
Entrance is MOP130 per person for standing, and between MOP120-270 for a table. Fees are converted to food and beverage coupons upon entry.
Tickets can be purchased until October 25th between 1pm - 8pm at the Oktoberfest reservations counter (opposite Pastry Bar).
