Realign Your Feng Shui at Vida Rica Bar

The five elements and feng shui are important in Macau, so much so that it isn’t uncommon for companies to hire feng shui masters to guide them before erecting their temples to decadence and gambling.
For those looking for a tastier way to get your body and spirit back in sync, head to the Mandarin Oriental Macau where you can, allegedly, sip your way to better feng shui.
The five elements (wood, fire, water, earth and metal) are each represented in tasty concoctions that can be ordered at Vida Rica Bar (MOP168+).
A bourbon-based cocktail that represents Wood is made with Maker's Mark, Laphroaig whisky, DOM Benedictine, sherry brandy, lemon juice, grapefruit juice and sugar syrup. The Metal cocktail is again made with Maker's Mark, lemon juice and sugar syrup, but this time with the addition of ginger and mint leaves. The Fire cocktails are made with Grey Goose vodka, wild strawberry, cranberry juice, lemon juice, sugar syrup, burnt rosemary and (here’s the heat no doubt) Bacardi 151. The Water cocktail is the most refreshing we image as it contains Jose Cuervo Silver tequila, Cointreau, cucumber, lemon juice, Midori, sugar syrup and dry ice, while the Earth cocktail is a combination of Tanqueray No. 10 gin, puerh tea, lemon juice, egg white, simple syrup, and a flower.
