Birthday Treats at the Four Seasons

Everyone loves a birthday party, particularly if you are the one getting gifts (before grey hairs and laugh lines start appearing of course!). Hotels, it turns out, are no exception. On August 28th the Four Seasons Macao will be turning seven years old.

The general manager, Royal Rowe, shares his team’s excitement about the upcoming milestone. “Over the years, we have built upon the legacy of the Four Seasons brand to define high style accommodations – no easy feat in Macau’s competitive hotel industry. At the same time, we have continuously raised the bar on guest services and are pleased to offer [a] special anniversary promotional campaign.”

Legacy indeed. The Four Seasons remains one of our personal favorites in Macau (and beyond). The fact that the hotel isn’t built around a casino is one thing we like, but we like it mainly because the hotel (and the Four Seasons brand as a whole) offers everything we love at Ladybird of Leisure - luxury and elegance with friendly and personalized service.

The promotional campaign in question will run for all of August and will offer a handful of ways to get involved in the celebrations. To start, anybody born in July will receive 50 percent off facial treatments at the Spa at Four Seasons as well as 30 percent off food at Michelin-starred Chinese restaurant Zi Yat Heen or all-day dining restaurant Belcanção (read our review here).

The rest of us will receive a lucky draw ticket for every MOP250 spent at the spa, boutique or any restaurant or bar at the hotel throughout the month (hellooooo wine tastings, massages and afternoon teas!). Winners of the lucky draw, which will be announced sometime in September, will receive a two-night stay with breakfast at one of the seven Four Seasons properties in Asia Pacific: Singapore, Shenzhen, Shanghai, Hangzhou, Hong Kong, Guangzhou or Beijing.

Also, be sure to keep an eye out for weekly offers which will be posted on the hotel’s Facebook page every Friday morning at 9:30 a.m. throughout August (does a 90-minute Four Seasons signature massage for MOP828 or Sunday brunch for two (with bubbles!) for MOP828 entice?). As excited as you surely are, you may want to keep them a secret as offers are limited to 100 redemptions.
