5 Ways to Woo Your Lover
Love is in the air, or at least it will be on February 14th. There will be no shortage of options to celebrate this romantic holiday, so we’ve rounded up five of the most desirable dinners in Macau. Get ready to be wooed, if not by your partner than at least by the food.

Mezza9 at the Grand Hyatt will offer a “menu of love” for dinner on Valentine’s Day which will feature a blend of Asian and European courses including Belon oysters, sushi and sashimi, wagyu beef with duck liver; and black truffle and cinnamon potato gnocchi. For dessert it’s his and hers, with a bitter chocolate heart gateau with mascarpone amaretto ice cream for him and a raspberry mango heart gateau with passion fruit sorbet and mixed berries for her. (MOP1,299 + 10% service charge per person). If you’ve waited until the last minute (tisk-tisk) then you can stop by the “love boutique” in the lobby to pick up a gift before dinner.

The different palettes of the genders have also been taken into account at Sheraton’s Bene, where Chef Gaetano Palumbo has created his and her (or more appropriately romeo and giulietta) “amore” menus. For him it’s oyster jelly bloody mary followed by baked rib of lamb with artichokes and potatoes; for her it’s oyster lemon granite with passion fruit vodka followed by John Dory with saffron potatoes. Both will enjoy a “dessert of love” to top it all off (MOP1,888 + 10% service charge for two).

For dessert it’s a raspberry parfait with chocolate mousse, a Brittany biscuit and a dark chocolate tuile paired with a glass of Moët & Chandon. To finish off the meal are mignardises with coffee or tea. (MOP1,888 + 10% service charge for two, or MOP2818 + 10% service charge for two with the wine pairing).
